Innovative field research in India helped Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo win Nobel Price in economics

For the last two decades, Nobel Laureates’ and economists Abhijeet Banerjee, Esther Duflo and Michale Kremer have looked at experiment-based field research to eliminate global poverty. Incidentally, one of their early works was trying to understand the poor learning outcomes of children in schools in India.
