Enroute Madhubani

Getting to Madhubani from Delhi means catching a crack of the dawn flight, an unpredictable traffic jam on the vibrating bridge (otherwise known as the Mahatma Gandhi Setu, the most commonly used route that connects Patna to the Northern districts of Bihar) and 4-5 hours on the road. The rigour of travelling looks less daunting when we know that the warmth of our colleagues in Madhubani and a newset of learnings on the field await us.

Every field visit to Madhubani is significant for us as we are developing our programme along the way with knowledge and insights from the partners and communities we are working with.

As our team in Leher piece together sharings from the field, we bring to you snippets of discussions, activities and life from the field visit undertaken last week. #storiesfromthefield
